AP Assembly To Be Built In 103 Acres, says Minister Narayana

Minister for Municipal Administration Dr P. Narayana said that the assembly building is being constructed on 103 acres. As the assembly is held for 40-50 days a year, he said that on the other days, people can go to the assembly building tower and see the entire city. He said that the assembly building will be constructed at 11.22 lakh square feet and 250 meters high.

The Minister said that the tenders will start in three days and that they are looking forward to avoiding any problems. He said that these decisions were taken at the CRDA Authority meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He revealed that the seed axis road work will also be done.

Minister Narayana said that the CRDA has approved the works worth Rs 24,276.83 crore in Amaravati in the 43rd Authority meeting. The works of the Assembly, High Court and Iconic Towers have been approved. He said that so far, the Authority has approved works worth Rs 45,249 crore through 3 meetings.

He explained that the Assembly building will cost Rs. 765 crores, the High Court building Rs. 1048 crores, and the 5 iconic towers Rs. 4665 crores.
