State Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha suggested that the first policing in the society should be done by the mother and that the same responsibility should be taken to raise the boys as well. She said that atrocities against women in the society will decrease only when men see their mother in women.
She was the chief guest at the Save the Girl Child 2K Run organized by Water Resources Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu at Palakollu in West Godavari district. District Collector Chadalawada Nagarani and SP Nayeem Asmi participated in this program organized by Dharma Rao Foundation with the slogans of Let’s save the girl child, let’s prevent foetal killings and let’s stop atrocities against women.
Home Minister Anitha expressed her concern that if atrocities are being committed even on unborn children, should it be considered a mental disorder? Anitha suggested that the first policing in the society should be done by the girl child, and that the same responsibility should be given to the boy child.
“If the girl child in our house was raised responsibly, the same way we raised the boy child, so many anarchies would not have happened in the society today. First of all, the first policing in the society should be implemented from every house. Let us all protect the girl child and protect the society”, she added.
Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu revealed that since winning the MLA for the first time, he has been conducting awareness programs under the name of ‘Save the Girl Child’ with the intention of bringing about a change with social responsibility.
Minister Nimmala said that once upon a time, when a girl child was born, it was considered that Mahalakshmi was born, and that such days should come again. Several cultural programs organized as part of the program particularly entertained the guests.
