Allu Arjun, arrested by police in the context of the Sandhya Theater case, was given interim bail by the Telangana High Court on Friday evening. He was stuck at Chanchalguda Jail overnight as there was delay in official processing of his bail copy. He was let out on Saturday morning. Soon after he came out of jail, he reached Geetha Arts office directly and went to his residence, where he addressed the media.
In his statement, he said, “I am safe and sound. I have always respected the law and will continue to co-operate with the concerned authorities. My sincere heart goes out to the victims’ family. We didn’t know what was going to happen, and this situation really is unfortunate. For all these years, more than 20 years I should say, I used to come to Sandhya Theatre every week, and now for this to happen there. We can’t change things for them, but I’ll be there to help them as I can. I’d thank all those who came for support during this time. In all the cases which are yet to be sorted, further comment on the matter might not be needed, or I will refrain from saying something which my law will take its own due course.”
Allu Arjun’s calm response has been widely appreciated by his fans, and his focus on legal procedures highlights his trust in the justice system.
