Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that the top 10 universities and top 10 hospitals in the world are coming to the capital city Amaravati. At the Collectors conference he said that the capital Amaravati is a rapidly developing city and cities like Vijayawada and Guntur will merge in Amaravati. He made it clear that plans should be prepared for it from now on.
In view of the increasing urbanization, he issued orders to the municipal department to prepare a master plan outside the Outer Ring Road continuously. He revealed that as part of Swachh Andhra, the concept of greenery should be increased among the people. He said that people should be made aware of the issues of cleanliness and cleanliness.
He advised the officials to make it a habit to keep the surroundings clean in line with customs and traditions. He said that the previous government had left behind 82 lakh metric tons of garbage and ordered that the work of removing it should be completed quickly. He said that waste should be used in the waste to energy method.
Orders have been issued to prepare a system for managing different types of waste such as crop waste, construction waste, electronics, metal, and plastic. Minister Lokesh revealed that the Economic Development Board is also working on recycling. The CM suggested that these be made a part of the circular economy. The Chief Minister ordered a clear action plan to be made on this.
CRDA Commissioner Katanneni Bhaskar, while giving a presentation on Amaravati, said that a road map has been prepared after conducting a study on the reconstruction of the capital with engineers and experts from IIT Chennai and Hyderabad. He said that now we have been able to prepare an action plan to enable us to undertake new works.
He said that administrative permissions have also been taken from the government to undertake works worth Rs. 20,500 crore. HUDCO has also approved a loan of another Rs. 11,000 crore. He said that a total loan of Rs. 31,000 crore will be available for capital construction.
He said that along with key constructions, the infrastructure to be undertaken in the LPS layout given to farmers will also be completed with these funds. He said that the World Bank is also ready to provide funds for skill training for human resources in the capital.
Bhaskar said that there were difficulties in the master plan due to the R5 zone. He said that a plan has been made to provide house plots to the beneficiaries in NTR and Guntur districts in the respective districts. He said that the collectors of NTR and Guntur districts should come forward to provide plots to the respective beneficiaries. He announced that he is ready to allocate funds accordingly if the DPRs are prepared.
