Tollywood director Sukumar will soon join the likes of SS Rajamouli, Nag Ashwin, Atlee and Prashanth Neel, who delivered films that went on to gross more than 1000 Crores as Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ is set to storm into the elite club in the next few days. Sukumar dedicated more than five years for ‘Pushpa’ franchise and his conviction and hard work paid off because he is now regarded as a next pan-India director from South after the overwhelming success of both parts.
As success ensues a lot of attention not just towards the actors but also the directors behind it, the focus now shifts on Sukumar’s future projects. There will be a lot of anticipation for his immediate next film for sure. There is a already a lot of talk all over the country on what is in store from the Pushpa director.
While Sukumar hasn’t yet announced about his next outing, there is a strong buzz that RRR fame Ram Charan will team up with him for a big-budget entertainer. The Sukumar – Ram Charan combo has been in talks for quite some time now. It was supposed to materialize after Pushpa, but the two part strategy has delayed the project indefinitely. Meanwhile, Ram Charan also committed to other projects.
Now that Sukumar is done and dusted with Pushpa, he will take a considerable break before starting work on Charan’s film. As Charan also garnered pan-India popularity with RRR and also awaiting ‘Game Changer’, his collaboration with Sukumar is bound to generate massive buzz in trade circles and among moviegoers.
Besides Charan’s project, Sukumar already committed to work with Prabhas, Vijay Devarakonda and NTR for which he pitched the scripts long back. Also, there is a chance for the third installment in Pushpa franchise.
