Driver’s `Fake Arrest’ Drama Likely To Haunt Sajjala Bhargav Reddy

The fake arrest drama played by the driver of former YSRCP social media in-charge Sajjala Bhargav Reddy has now come back to haunt him. Police unearthed their plot to frame the police as the accused and prepare to register a case against Bhargav Reddy, who filed a false complaint.

Yamatti Subbarao, a resident of Simhadri Appannapet village in Agiripalli mandal, works as a driver for Sajjala Bhargav. Former minister Ambati Rambabu and other YSRCP leaders alleged that on the night of the second of this month, two task force constables in Mufti arrested Subbarao from his house, put a monkey cap on his face, took him to an apartment and beat him as much as they wanted to tell him everything about Bhargav, and later left him at the Andhra Hospital in Vijayawada.

On this, on the 3rd of this month, they complained to Vijayawada Police Commissioner SV Rajasekhara Babu. With this, the officials examined the CCTV footage on the routes where Subbarao was said to have been brought by the police. No evidence was found anywhere that he was brought on the night of the second day.

Also, there was no signal point at the cell tower location in those areas. When the police became suspicious and took a statement from Subbarao, he started to hesitate. The complaint stated that the police threatened Subbarao’s wife and children during the arrest.

However, it was confirmed during the investigation that his wife had been living in Aratlakatta village near Vuyyuru since a year ago due to the ill health of her parents. While the complaint states that Subbarao was arrested from his house in Simhadri Appannapet, his cell tower location on that day showed him in Aratlakatta.

On the evening of the second day itself, it is reliably learned that the police have collected CCTV footage of Subbarao sitting at a bus stop near the Missionary Hospital near the new Government Hospital in Vijayawada and being taken to the government hospital on a scooter by former MLA Malladi Vishnu’s aide Chandraleela.

The scenes of him being given primary treatment in the casualty case there were recorded in the government hospital’s CCTV cameras. The police have technically confirmed that Subbarao was in touch with YSRCP leaders since the day before the thief arrest drama.

It was found that he had made several calls to MLC Lella Appireddy, former minister Meruga Nagarjuna and other YSRCP leaders on the 1st, and they were the ones who played this drama. The police are suspecting that Bhargav, who is embroiled in cases related to obscene postings, is playing such dramas just for bail.
