BJP national president and Union Minister JP Nadda has accused the Congress party of coming to power in Telangana by making false promises and misleading the people. He warned that BJP workers will fight until the Revanth Reddy government, which was formed on the foundation of lies, is brought down.
Participating as the chief guest in a public meeting organized by the state BJP at Saroornagar Stadium on Saturday evening under the title “Congress Party 6 Lies, 66 Frauds”, he criticized the Congress for coming to power in Telangana, Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka by misleading the people. He referred to Congress fraudulent promises of Rs. 12,000 to auto drivers, Rs. 15,000 to farmers, Rs. 12,000 to tenant farmers, and unemployment allowance in Telangana.
He questioned what happened to the promise of Rs. 2,500 to women every month, Shaadi Mubarak, gold coins, and cash of Rs. 1 lakh. He criticized the Congress government for claiming that it is running the government on loans. Stating that change in Telangana is possible only with the BJP, he expressed confidence that the BJP will definitely come to power in the next elections in Telangana.
Nadda strongly criticized the Congress party as a parasite and that the weaknesses of other parties are the strength of the Congress. He asked Revanth Reddy to remind that the Congress has always lost in states where it is in direct contest with the BJP, and that the Congress wins only with the help of regional parties.
Nadda said that the Telangana BJP has decided to fight on the issues of farmers, women, youth and workers. Nadda reminded that while there are BJP governments in 19 states in the country, the NDA is in power in 6 states. Telling the workers that once the BJP comes to power in Telangana, it will remain in power forever, to this extent, the lotus should bloom in the state.
He reminded that the BJP government has come to power for the second time in Rajasthan, six times in Goa, third time in Madhya Pradesh and second time in UP. He said that they have come to power for the third time in Maharashtra. Saying that they have come to power for the second time in Uttarakhand, third time in Manipur, second time in Assam and third time in Haryana, Nadda asserted that the BJP has a record of winning not once but many times.
Nadda explained that the BJP had won the maximum number of seats in Jammu and Kashmir and had also won the by-elections. He recalled that in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, there was a face-to-face contest between the BJP and the Congress on 64 seats, of which the BJP had won 62 seats.
