Vikarabad: The Kodangal court has remanded Patnam Narender Reddy, the former MLA of Kodangal, to police custody in connection with the Lagacherla assault case. Narender Reddy, identified as the prime accused (A-1) in the case, was requested for custody by the police through a petition submitted in the court.
After examining the petition, the court issued an order granting a two-day police custody. On Saturday, Narender Reddy will be transferred from Charlapalli Jail to Vikarabad, where he will be interrogated by the police over the course of two days.
