Hyderabad: BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi) MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy was granted bail by a local court following his arrest for obstructing police duties. The court set his bail at Rs. 5,000 with two sureties. A case was filed against Kaushik Reddy and 20 of his supporters based on a complaint from CI Raghavendra, who accused them of disrupting police operations at the Banjara Hills police station.
The MLA was arrested on Thursday morning and taken to the Banjara Hills police station, where he underwent medical tests at Osmania Hospital before being presented before the judge. After the hearing, the judge granted him bail.
