Tollywood director Ram Gopal Varma, whose posts on opposition leaders Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan and Nara Lokesh created controversy during the previous YSR Congress government’s regime, has been given temporary relief by the Andhra Pradesh High Court. The Andhra Pradesh Police were trying to arrest him in connection with the posts. The High Court issued an interim order after considering his petition to Varma by giving him protection against arrest until next week. The development does provide him a brief respite from legal proceedings.
