Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced that it will provide Lord Venkateswara Swamy darshan to local residents on the first Tuesday of every month, as per the decision of the Dharmakartas Council. The initiative is set to begin on December 3.
To facilitate this, free darshan tokens will be issued on December 2 at two locations: the Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati and the Community Hall in Balaji Nagar, Tirumala. A total of 2,500 tokens will be available at the Mahati Auditorium, and 500 tokens will be distributed at the Balaji Nagar Community Hall between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM. Tokens will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Local residents will need to present their original Aadhaar card to receive the tokens, and must bring the same card during the darshan. Devotees will be allowed to enter the Vaikuntham Queue Complex (Divya Darshanam) pathway for the darshan, after which a free laddu will be provided.
It is important to note that after receiving darshan under the local quota, residents will not be eligible for another darshan for 90 days.
