Konda Surekha Accuses Praveen Kumar Behind conspiracies In Gurukulas

Alleging that some people are trying to obstruct Revanth Reddy’s regime and trying to bring bad name to the government, Forest and Endowment Minister Konda Surekha accused that former civil servant RS Praveen Kumar of being behind the conspiracies in the Gurukuls, particularly food poisoning incidents  

She alleged that he was the secretary of the Gurukuls in the past, and at that time his followers were appointed as staff without the government’s permission. She was furious that now they are conspiring against the government to smear the government. She alleged that there was massive misuse of funds when RS Praveen Kumar was the secretary of the Gurukuls.

She said that he was removed as secretary only after allegations of corruption were made. She warned that this matter will not be left unattended and a thorough investigation will be conducted and the accused will be punished severely. The minister recalled that BRS leaders had complained in the past that RS Praveen Kumar had misused crores of rupees of funds.

Surekha said that Rs.99 crores had been spent without tenders in the past. She said that 103 Gurukul buildings were rented out to relatives of BRS leaders. She said that RS Praveen Kumar joined BSP to win over Dalit voters.

She alleged that RS Praveen Kumar ran a mafia in the past. She said that the government is giving an Indiramma house and a job to the family of the student who died in Wankidi. She lamented that the opposition is trying to use the death of a Gurukul student for political gain.

Minister Konda Surekha said that special treatment was given to the girl who was treated at NIMS, but she died. Did you get any help if someone died in the previous government?, she asked. If you are so sad, she advised BRS leaders to give one crore rupees to the girl’s family. She said that the officials responsible for the food poisoning incident in her government have also been suspended.
