It has been more than three years since actors Naga Chaitanya and Samantha got divorced due to some personal differences. While Chaitu moved on and announced his marriage with his second love Shobita Dhulipala, Samantha maintained that she isn’t interested to tie the knot any time sooner. Despite their mutual separation, Samantha continues to seek attention with controversial statements on her former relation.
While Naga Chaitanya never made any hurtful comments on Samantha, there is no similar reciprocation from the latter towards the former. She often tries to poke Chaitanya during her media appearances. Just like she did in the past, Samantha once again triggered another controversy by making indirect remarks on her ex-love.
In one of her recent interviews with her Citadel : Honey Bunny co-star Varun Dhawan, Samantha was asked about what was the most ridiculous amount she spent on ?, She immediately replied ” on my ex’s gifts”. When asked about the price of the gifts, she refused to answer.
Though she hasn’t directly revealed the name of her ex, netizens assumed that she was referring to the gifts she gave to Naga Chaitanya when they were together. Some expressed their opinion that Samantha might have spent money on gifts, but the way she keeps on carping about these trivial things during media interactions shows her insecurity.
It was a rapid fire round and Samanath asked Varun if he has ever checked out his co-stars? On this Varun is seen laughing. Before he could reply, Samantha said, “Multiple times.” Varun laughed and said, “Why are you replying for me.”
