After months of campaigning, the moment has finally arrived: the Maharashtra and Jharkhand Assembly Election results will be announced today. As per projections, Mahayuti is ahead in 228 seats, while the MVA has a lead in 53. Other parties have managed to forge an early lead in 13 seats. The BJP itself crossed 100 in early trends.

The BJP-led Mahayuti coalition is hoping to secure another term, while the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance aims for a comeback. The Exit polls also predicted MVA return back in the polls.

With vote counting underway for Jharkhand’s 81 Assembly constituencies, the JMM-led alliance is ahead in 51 seats, while the NDA is leading in 27. Both the NDA and the INDIA bloc are targeting the crucial 41-seat majority.
