Minister Nara Lokesh said that people are observing the courage of the Telugu Desam ranks and the cowardice of the YSRCP cadres. He said that no matter how much the police harassed the TDP ranks with illegal cases in the last five years, the activists stood bravely.
But, he accused the YSRCP leaders of being cowards by calling it political asceticism even though the police are now issuing short notices on obscene posts made by YSRCP activists. He recalled that the TDP ranks had fought bravely against illegal cases because they had not done anything wrong.
He was furious that the YSRCP ranks were saying sorry and political asceticism because they were caught in the crossfire. Lokesh made it clear that the government will not spare anyone who has done wrong.
Speaking to the media in the Assembly lobby, he said that the government is serious about the posts on social media. Ridiculing the YCP dilemma over PAC Chairman election, he wondered why they put up a candidate having known they do not have numbers to vote.
Discussing with MLA on the voting polled in their respective constituencies, he said that people’s overwhelming support to them indicates growing response to work for their welfare and to meet their aspirations.
Lokesh himself gave a status report on the representations received from the people in his constituency. He gave a status report explaining how many of the petitions given to him by the MLAs have been resolved, as well as the reasons for those that have not. He revealed that the system of responding to petitions given to central ministers is being implemented here too. He said that this system will be further strengthened in the coming days.
The MLAs brought to Lokesh’s attention that there are differences of opinion on the increase in school timings. The minister said that he had also received feedback on this issue and that he was implementing it only as a pilot project and that the decision would be changed once the feedback subsides. Minister Lokesh clarified that sports activities will be increased to enhance the physical and mental development of students.
