Retired IPS ABV warns YS Jagan `Control Your Tounge…’

Retired DG AB Venkateswara Rao has become serious about former Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. Responding to Jagan’s comments at a press meet on Wednesday, AB Venkateswara Rao gave Jagan a strong warning on the X platform.

“Mr. Jagan Reddy…control your tongue…correct your words…check your language. Once you lose the trust of the people, once you slip your tongue you can never get it back. I will not speak with bad manners like you. I will not negotiate behind the scenes. You have seen for yourself what I am, my unyielding nature is in the last five years… be careful,” ABV warned.

“For the record, what you said about me yesterday is a blatant lie,” he posted on the X platform. Meanwhile, Jagan, who spoke at a media conference on Wednesday, made several serious accusations against three retired IPS officers,  targeting AB Venkateswara Rao.

Speaking on the arrests of social media activists, he alleged that three retired IPS officers were behind this. He was furious that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was acting recklessly in the matter of the arrests of YSRCP social media activists. He criticized the police department for arresting them.

He also said that three retired IPS officers are advising Chandrababu on the arrests. He accused them of constantly operating from the Secretariat, obtaining information through intelligence officials from districts against YCP social media activists.

Jagan not only mentioned the names of AB Venkateswara Rao, RP Thakur and Yoganand, but also addressed them in a monotone without giving them any courtesy. Jagan alleged that these three retired officers are carrying out a series of arrests with a well-planned plan after getting a list of YSRCP leaders in all districts through the Intelligence Department.

Jagan’s comments about the three retired IPS officers are causing a huge stir. However, AB Venkateswara Rao also gave a strong counter to Jagan’s comments.

Meanwhile, everyone knows how the government treated AB Venkateswara Rao during the YSRCP government. ABV fought hard for his job by going to the courts.  He was accused by the government of being biased against him. Finally, he fought till the end in court for the job and won. AB Venkateswara Rao, who took charge of the job on the day of retirement, retired on the same evening.
