Posani Krishna Murali Announces Permanent Exit from Politics Amid Legal Cases

Actor Posani Krishna Murali has officially announced his permanent exit from politics, following a series of legal challenges. The actor, who had previously made outspoken political comments, particularly against figures such as Pawan Kalyan, Chandrababu Naidu, and N. Lokesh, revealed that he would no longer engage in political discussions or support any political party.

Posani, who had been vocal during the tenure of the YSR Congress Party government, has been facing multiple cases, including a high-profile CID case, after the recent electoral defeat of the party. With the change in government, these legal issues have escalated.

In a public statement, Posani clarified that his decision to step away from politics was not just in response to the legal cases but also due to personal attacks based on his age. He expressed his frustration, noting that while he had often praised Chandrababu Naidu for his good deeds, he had criticized him when necessary.

Posani recalled a past instance during the shooting of Shravanamasam when he had put up a large cutout of Naidu and arranged for the film’s inauguration despite Naidu being out of power. He also mentioned that Naidu had blessed him and his family, but their relationship soured due to his subsequent criticism of Naidu’s actions.

The actor emphasized that his political comments were always based on the actions of the leaders involved and that he had never hesitated to praise or criticize them. With his formal exit from politics, Posani stated that he would no longer participate in political discussions or activities.
