Nayanthara’s relationship with Prabhu Deva was once a major highlight in the film industry, especially when they were planning to get married in 2011. In her Netflix documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale, she reveals that the Telugu film Sri Rama Rajyam was meant to be her final movie. While she never planned to quit acting, Prabhu Deva had asked her to leave the industry for their marriage.
Nayanthara, without naming him, clarifies that it was her former boyfriend who requested she stop acting before marriage. The movie, directed by the late Bapu, had Nayanthara portraying Sita. On her last day of shooting, she reportedly became emotional, believing it would be her final appearance in films. However, fate took a different turn, and Nayanthara continued her successful career.
