Sharmila Demands CM Chandrababu To Follow 1:100 policy In Group-I Main selections

APCC chief YS Sharmila Reddy has demanded that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu follow the 1:100 policy in the selection of Group-1 Mains candidates in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Sharmila has requested that the 1:100 policy followed in the selection of Group-2 and Deputy EO posts be followed in the case of Group-1 as well.

YS Sharmila said that APPSC has the power to select candidates in the ratio of 1:100 as per GEO No. 5. She told Chandrababu that it is fair for the candidates who wrote Group-1 prelims to ask for a chance according to the ratio of 1:100 using that power.

She said that only 4,450 people qualified for the mains through the ratio of 1:50 given for 89 posts, and if the calculation is made in the ratio of 1:100, another 4,450 people will get a chance. She said that the candidates are hoping that the state government should make such a selection.

She revealed that candidates have been worried about this issue for a few days. Sharmila has once again appealed to CM Chandrababu Naidu regarding the selection of Group-1 Mains candidates.

She said that many candidates are expressing their grievances that they have lost out due to reasons such as the lack of time between Group 2 and Group 1 exams, the difference between the syllabus, and the fact that the exams are conducted on the old syllabus despite being called new syllabus.

Sharmila brought to the attention of CM Chandrababu Naidu that they are all worried that if the long-awaited Group-1 jobs are lost, there will be no more notifications now. She was furious that the government did not care even after meeting the APPSC Chairman on this matter. Sharmila said that the Congress party is demanding that the appeals of the candidates be examined and justice be done before the Group-1 Mains schedule is released.
