Today Kodangal, Tomorrow Telangana will Revolt, KTR warns Revanth Reddy

BRS working president and former minister K T Rama Rao warned chief minister Revanth Reddy that today Kodangal, tomorrow Telangana will revolt against him. After meeting the farmers of Lagacharla in Sangareddy jail, he lamented that Revanth Reddy is shamelessly trying to intimidate them with political color to cover up his actions.

He said that among those arrested are SC, ST and BC farmers. He expressed anger that the farmers were tortured to the third degree and Kodangal SI, CI and Vikarabad SP together beat them for three hours. He deplored that the victims’ legs and hands are tied.

Moreover, KTR said the police threatened farmers “if you say that you were beaten in front of the magistrate, we will beat you again.. We will beat your family members too”.  KTR was furious that the police were behaving inhumanly and brutally.

KTR wondered that the police operation here resembled high-profile operations for terrorists like Osama bin Laden breaking down doors in public places and some private individuals resorted to attacks by talking obscenely. They even terrorized children, he added.

KTR cautioned that Revanth Reddy should remember one thing that no one on this earth is immortal and his position is only for five years. “If the people of Delhi get angry, you will have no choice but to resign tomorrow. I am reminding you of one thing. You are not a king or an emperor”, he added.

He took severe exception that the lands of SC, ST and BC farmers will be encroached upon. He ridiculed that Chief Minister is acting as if his son-in-law sets up a pharma company, Telangana society will be turned upside down.

Ultimately, KTR warned that the Chief Minister will definitely have to pay the price of the 21 families who were put in jail today. He asserted that the BRS will stand by the affected farmers and their families. “We will fight a legal battle for bail”, he said. He deplored that a government employee named

Raghavendra Yadav was also arrested and put in jail. “We will bow our heads and give him a job. If necessary, we will go to the Supreme Court. We will not let you lose your job. Don’t be afraid of Tirupati Reddy’s atrocities. Be brave. Let’s fight democratically”, he added. KTR said that they have assured them that we will fight in the courts and bring him out.
