Following a significant defeat in the Andhra Pradesh elections, YSRCP is witnessing exits from several prominent leaders. In response, party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is implementing key changes within the organization. These include appointing new district presidents, filling vacancies across various party wings, and appointing new coordinators for constituencies as needed. One such major move was the decision to make changes in the leadership of the Amadalavalasa constituency, which has raised eyebrows.
The party recently appointed Chintada Ravikumar as the coordinator for the Amadalavalasa Assembly constituency, which was represented by former Speaker Tammineni Sitaram. Ravikumar, who held important assignments within the party, including the zonal incharge of the publicity department and acting as party observer, took up the coordination responsibility.
Additionally, the party has named MLA Tathiparthi Chandrashekhar and former MLA Koramutla Srinivasulu as state spokespersons, further reshaping the party’s leadership. However, the shift in responsibility for Amadalavalasa has sparked questions about Tammineni Sitaram’s position. Sitaram had previously been overseeing the constituency, and it remains to be seen how he will respond to this change in leadership.
These developments come as part of YSRCP’s larger efforts to rejuvenate the party and streamline its structure ahead of future political challenges. The appointments have generated considerable interest, and all eyes are now on Tammineni Sitaram’s next steps.
