Unexpected Twist : Thaman Replaces DSP For Pushpa 2

In a rather shocking and unexpected twist with less than a month to go for the grand release of India’s most awaited sequel Pushpa 2, the team has reportedly decided to bring SS Thaman on board in place of Devi Sri Prasad to render the background score for the film. Devi Sri Prasad has reportedly delayed the work on BGM due to his commitments and frustrated both director Sukumar and lead actor Allu Arjun, who decided to keep him aside.

As the release date is fast approaching, Sukumar and his team are under huge pressure to complete the filming and post-production activities to meet the deadline because they cannot afford to postpone the film at this juncture. Meanwhile, Devi Sri Prasad also couldn’t complete his work due to other commitments. So, the team has no other option but to find an alternative to ensure that there is no last minute rush.

Devi Sri Prasad rendered a blockbuster album for the first part and his stupendous BGM played a significant role in the massive box office success. Now, the expectations on the sequel are sky high on the second part. The first two songs received a thumping response and the third song in the album is set to be unveiled very soon. As Devi will be working on finishing the album, Thaman will start composing the background score.

Sources revealed that DSP wasted few days for his concert and also focused on his remaining projects which is why he dedicate his full time for Pushpa 2. The question now is can Thaman manage to match the high expectations on the sequel ?

Pushpa is slated for release on December 5th.
