Revanth Reddy plan For A Padayatra In Musi catchment Areas

In view of mixed response from the people on his prestigious Musi revival project and severe criticism from the opposition, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is ready to visit the Musi catchment areas at the field level and meet the people directly. He has decided to do a padayatra to this extent.

On the occasion of his birthday on November 08th, CM Revanth Reddy will begin his field level tours. To celebrate his birthday, CM Revanth Reddy will visit Yadagirigutta Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy along with his family and perform special pujas. Later, he will review the development work of Yadadri temple along with YTDA and district officials.

Later, CM Revanth Reddy will start the padayatra titled “Musi Punarujjivan Praja Chaitanya Yatra” from Vadapalli. This padayatra will extend from Bollepalli in Valigonda mandal of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district to Sangem and Bhimalingam bridge. Revanth Reddy will be conducting a padayatra under the leadership of MLA Kumbam Anil Kumar.

In this context, he will lay the foundation stone for the pipeline project to be built from Mallanna Sagar to Yadadri district for fresh water supply. There is already a lot of criticism among the government and opposition leaders about this Musi revival project.

In this context, it is known that CM Revanth Reddy has thrown a challenge to the BRS leaders. If the BRS leaders are sincere, they should come together for the padayatra he is going to do from Vadapalli. He challenged them to ask the people of Nalgonda district whether they want Musi cleansing or not.

CM Revanth Reddy alleged that BRS leaders made efforts to revive Musi while in power. For this, they even set up Musi Development Corporation and designed a special project.

However, after coming into the opposition, he was furious that BRS leaders were making all sorts of noise as if the Musi cleanup was the real problem.

He warned that suggestions should be given on beautifying Musi. Moreover, it would not be right to block this project. He said that no one is willing to live in the filth of Musi. If there are any suggestions to do justice to the people of Musi, they should do it. However, CM Revanth Reddy advised BRS leaders that it would not be right to hold protests.
