Bollywood star Varun Dhawan’s highly anticipated film ‘Baby John’ is scheduled to grace theaters on December 25, 2024. Adding to the anticipation, the filmmakers have unveiled the film’s “Taster Cut.”
Directed by Kalees, ‘Baby John’ is the official remake of the Tamil blockbuster film ‘Theri’ directed by Atlee. In this action-packed film, Varun Dhawan plays a fierce cop and a devoted father, showcasing his versatility as an actor. Keerthy Suresh portrays the female lead alongside him, marking her Bollywood debut.
The taster cut gives glimpses of all action and emotions. Varun Dhawan as a fierce cop and a caring father showcases the transformation as an actor. Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff brings menace as the main antagonist. Thaman’s background music added another layer to the film’s gripping atmosphere.
Produced by Priya Atlee, Murad Khateni, and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of A for Apple Productions and Cine 1 Studios, the film is presented by Atlle and Jio Studios. The film also boasts a stellar supporting cast of Wamiqa Gabbi, Sanya Malhotra, Pankaj Tripathi, Rajpal Yadav, and Sheeba Chaddha in significant roles.
Slated for a Christmas release, it will compete with Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par at the boxoffice. Varun Dhawan is also set to appear in the spy-thriller action series ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’, which will premiere on November 7 in Amazon Prime video.
