Rowdy sheeter Borugadda Anilkumar, who is now under policy custody in a case threatening AELC church treasurer Karlapudi Babu Prakash demanding Rs 50 lakh cash, claimed he was advisor to the then Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
During police interrogation, he has allegedly said that that’s why he was provided police gunman facility with the directions from the then govt. Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and Intelligence Chief PSR Anjaneyulu.
Moreover, Chaitanya also confessed that YCP leaders Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Thalashila Raghuram, Lella Appireddy and Devineni Avinash had arranged a meeting at YCP central office and then took them to the Telugu Desam Party office and attacked them.
After his three-day police custody was concluded on Sunday, he was produced before the Court on Monday, which has extended his judicial custody for 11 more days.
But Panuganti Chaitanya played a key role in the attack on the TDP office. It was revealed on the basis of the CCTV footage that he was the main one and led the whole thing. In this background, it seems that Panuganti Chaitanya has told AP CID police about who did this attack.
Also, it seems that Panuganti Chaitanya has told many important things regarding this attack to the CID police. Based on the information given by the YCP leader, we have to wait and see whether the CID police will investigate Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Raghuram, Appireddy and Devineni Avinash or not.
Meanwhile, Chaitanya, who is the main accused in this case, is the main follower of MLC Appireddy. It is known that Chaitanya, who escaped for almost five months, surrendered in Mangalagiri court on 14th of this month.
For three days, the CID officials interrogated the YCP leader in Guntur in their own style. Though he was not cooperative on the first day and gave evasive replies stating for everything `I am not remembered’, from the second day he has reportedly confessed about what really happened.
