Recently, IAS officer Amrapali, who was relieved from Telangana and joined Andhra Pradesh, has been given a new posting by the coalition government. Amrapali has been appointed as the Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation. Additionally, she has been entrusted with full additional responsibilities as the CEO of the AP Tourism Corporation. The orders to this effect were issued by AP Chief Secretary Neerab Kumar.
It is noteworthy that several IAS officers recently moved from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh. Along with Amrapali, Vakati Karuna and Vani Prasad have also reported in AP, and they were given their respective postings.
Vakati Karuna has been appointed as the Commissioner for Medical, Health, and Family Welfare, and she has also been assigned additional responsibilities as the Director of the National Health Mission. Vani Prasad has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Labour Department. Additionally, G. Vani Mohan, currently serving as the Commissioner of the Department of Archaeology, has been transferred to the General Administration Department as the Principal Secretary of Service Affairs.
