Producer Naga Vamsi remarked that there are no logical flaws (missed logics) in his latest film Lucky Bhaskhar, and jokingly added that if anyone finds any, he would throw a party. He made these comments during the trailer launch event of the film, which stars Dulquer Salmaan and is directed by Venky Atluri. Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the female lead in the movie, which is set to release on the 31st of this month. Naga Vamsi expressed his confidence that the film will do well at the box office and highlighted that it explores a theme that hasn’t been touched upon in recent Telugu films. He also mentioned that from the beginning, the director believed Dulquer was the perfect fit for the character of Bhaskar Kumar.
Dulquer Salmaan, while responding to a question about appearing in Kalki 2, said, “I wasn’t even aware I’d be in Kalki Part 1, I suddenly joined the shoot. You should ask the director Nag Ashwin about that.” Speaking about Lucky Bhaskhar, he added, “I haven’t done this kind of genre even in Malayalam. I liked the script as soon as I heard it.” Dulquer’s production house is also set to release the film K starring Kiran Abbavaram in Malayalam. Addressing the fact that both Lucky Bhaskhar and K are releasing on the same day, Dulquer noted that the release date is beyond their control and that both films are based on different storylines.
Meenakshi Chaudhary, reflecting on her role, said, “I connected with the character of Sumati (the heroine’s role) when Venky narrated the story. My dream of working with Dulquer has come true with this film.”
