He was dwelling upon public trust as the very foundation of an alliance government succeeding. The deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan said that the force to which the government owes success, is the peoples’ confidence through their votes, and it makes the government work doubly hard so that this administration protects the people. He claimed that the government would honor the trust with the hardest of working to fulfill the needs of the people and while his claims were neglected under the previous YSR Congress administration.
He also discussed the influx of members to Jana Sena Party, with major leaders from other political parties joining their names. All such waves of new entrants like Mudragada Kranti and key local leaders from Guntur and Jaggaiahpet add strength to the party’s resolve. At a latest function, Pawan Kalyan welcomed such new entrants by the shawl of Jana Sena, representing the unity and growth of the party.
Tackling public issues, Pawan Kalyan referred to the drinking water scarcity in the Gudivada area. He promised that after raising the matter before the government, suitable measures were undertaken which included granting funds and testing of the water quality. Reiterating that the coalition government is willing to deliver the basic requirements of the people and infrastructure was accorded and assistance rendered where there is an issue like this was noted.
There was no minced words on corruption also. He said any malpractice committed in the Panchayat Raj department would be expelled. He stated that if any official is found seeking bribes, he will be removed from the position immediately. Observing that the slew of programs initiated under the banner of Palle Pragathi were resultant upon doing the right things, he told that change was palpable in rural areas, the departments were working in a much more streamlined and then supported manner, and recent transfers within the department were part of the campaigns to stamp out corruption and enhance services.
