Renowned Mollywood actor Prithviraj Sukumaran celebrates his 42nd birthday today. On his special day, the filmmakers of his upcoming directorial and acting venture ‘L2: Empuraan’ revealed the first look poster.
Starring Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, ‘L2: Empuraan’ is Prithviraj’s third directorial film, where he also plays a pivotal role. On this special occasion, Mohanlal unveiled an intense first look of Prithviraj as Zayed Masood.
Taking to his X, Mohanlal shared the first look poster along with a heartfelt birthday message: “Happy birthday General! Forsaken by God..nurtured by the DEVIL! #ZayedMasood The Emperor’s General.” The poster features Prithviraj in a black combat outfit with an assault rifle.
Helmed by the actor, Mohanlal portrays the lead role as Abraam Khureshi, where Prithviraj plays the loyal right hand to the main lead as Zayed Masood. The film also has a stellar star cast of Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Indrajit Sukumaran, Abhimanyu Singh, Arjun Das, Shine Tom Chacko, Fazil, and many others in pivotal roles.
Jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas, the film is swiftly progressing in Thiruvananthapuram. Deepav Dev is crafting the musical score for this high-octane action thriller. Scheduled for a pan-Indian release, it will hit theaters in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada. The film’s release date has not yet been revealed but will be announced shortly.
