Dr. K. Lakshman Appointed as National Returning Officer for BJP

In a significant development for the Telangana unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Dr. K. Lakshman has been appointed as the national returning officer for the party’s upcoming organizational elections. The announcement was made through official orders issued by the party’s national leadership.

This appointment comes as the BJP prepares for its nationwide organizational elections, which will also include the election of the national party president. BJP National President J.P. Nadda has sanctioned this designation, highlighting the importance of Dr. Lakshman’s role in overseeing the electoral process.

Additionally, co-returning officers have been appointed to assist in this process. BJP Vice President Rekha Verma, Puri Lok Sabha MP Sambit Patra, and Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal from Uttarakhand will work alongside Dr. Lakshman to ensure the smooth conduct of the elections.

The party’s organizational elections are set to take place in the coming days, marking a crucial phase for the BJP as it seeks to strengthen its leadership structure at the national level.
