Jani Master’s Bail Petition Dismissed Amid Sexual Assault Allegations

Jani Master faced a setback in the Ranga Reddy court as his recently filed bail petition was dismissed. It is well-known that a case under the POCSO Act was filed against him following allegations of sexual assault by an assistant choreographer. A week ago, the court had granted him interim bail from October 6 to 10 to allow him to receive a National Award. However, after the award was withheld, Jani Master voluntarily canceled his bail and returned to jail. Shortly after, he filed another appeal for bail, but the court, after hearing arguments from both sides, rejected his petition.

Meanwhile, Jani Master’s wife, Sumalatha, continues to fight for him. In a recent twist, the person identified as the victim in Jani Master’s case is now facing allegations herself. A young man has filed a case against her, accusing her of sexually assaulting him. The young man, who is Jani Master’s nephew Shamir, claimed that during trips with Jani Master to Hyderabad and Chennai for film shoots, she assaulted him in a lift, restroom, and lodge. He also alleged that she took inappropriate photos and threatened him. He stated that he was a minor at the time and has now reported the incident to the police, who are expected to begin an investigation into the complaint.
