BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has condemned the recent desecration of the idol at the Muthyalamma Temple near Monda Market, Kummari Guda, Secunderabad. Taking to the X platform, KTR expressed his disapproval of the incident and urged authorities to take immediate and strict action against the perpetrators.
KTR highlighted the seriousness of the attack on the temple, stating that such acts of vandalism create unrest and tarnish the image of Hyderabad’s tolerance. He further emphasized the need for the state government to take responsibility, as law and order has been reportedly deteriorating over the past month.

The incident involved a miscreant who vandalized the idol of the goddess at the Muthyalamma Temple. Local residents, upon discovering the act, gathered in large numbers at the temple and staged a protest, blocking the road. A heavy police deployment followed to manage the situation. CCTV footage from the temple showed the accused kicking open the temple gate before proceeding to destroy the idol.
