KCR To come out of political Dormancy From December

Bharat Rashtra Samiti president K. Chandrasekhar Rao, fondly referred as KCR, has been maintaining a low profile ever since the party’s defeat in the Telangana assembly elections held last year. Due an injury to his backbone immediately after the election results last year and subsequent surgery, KCR got confined to his house for many weeks. He greeted his followers and BRS supporters at his home and later came out a few days before the parliament elections to take part in the poll campaign.

Again after the party’s humiliating rout in the parliament elections when it failed even secure a single seat, KCR once again went into political oblivion without any reasons. Till date, KCR didn’t address any press meet and not even appeared in a single media interaction. He ignored the assembly sessions as well for reasons best known to him and his party high command.

Even when there is a lot of opposition from the public on the current government’s rule with regard to implementation of poll promises, use of HYDRA to bulldoze houses, controversies over MUSI development and other important issues, it is quite baffling to everyone including his political opponents on why KCR has been hiding inside four walls without making any attempt to come out and take the fight against the government.

For someone who ruled the state for two terms and with vast experience and public charisma, the state of political dormancy that is being displayed by KCR is very perplexing. Despite huge criticism from the ruling Congress party over his absence from political scene of the state, KCR chose to remain silent.

Now, there is a talk in the BRS party circles that KCR is planning to come out of his exile from December this year. As the Congress government completes one year in a couple of months, KCR will reportedly reach out to the public and fight against the ruling party by highlighting its failures.

Sources revealed that the BRS cadre and leaders have requested KCR to turn active and stay relevant to revive the fortunes of the party. So, KCR is likely to end his silence and come out of dormancy to fight against the Revanth Reddy’s government from December.

As the local body elections are imminent in Telangana, KCR is determined to ensure that the BRS makes a strong comeback. His return is likely to cheer up the ground level cadre and also motivate the party leaders.
