KTR Blames Congress for Contaminated Water Deaths in Sangareddy District

In a tragic incident, two individuals have reportedly died after consuming contaminated water in Sanjeevan Rao Peta village, located in the Narayanakhed mandal of Sangareddy district. K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), the working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), responded strongly to the situation, asserting that the deaths resulting from the contaminated water supply are a direct consequence of the Congress government’s failures.

KTR demanded immediate assistance for the families of the deceased and urged the Congress government to provide necessary support to those undergoing treatment. He emphasized the importance of preventing similar unfortunate incidents from occurring elsewhere in the state.

Highlighting the achievements of the KCR government, KTR noted that the Mission Bhagiratha project, designed to ensure a comprehensive supply of drinking water across Telangana, has been completed in a manner unmatched by any other state in the country. However, he criticized the current administration, led by Revanth Reddy, for failing to effectively manage the project, which aims to purify water from the Krishna and Godavari rivers for statewide distribution.
