As speculated in the media circles, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s magnum opus socio-fantasy thriller Vishwambhara has been shifted out of the Sankranti 2025 race to accommodate Ram Charan’s much anticipated and long delayed political thriller Game Changer, which will now unspool in theatres on January 10th as a festival treat.
Game Changer, directed by Shankar Shanmugam, is supposed to hit the screens during the Christmas season. However, the makers felt that the scale and the budget of the film deserves a big festival advantage and decided to pitch it during the Sankranti week. So, they have reportedly approached the producers of Vishwambhara to make way for Game Changer.
Producer Dil Raju’s request has been immediately acceded to by Vishwambhara makers. He thanked the producers of UV Creations for understanding the interests of Game Changer buyers. He announced through a video byte today morning on the eve of Dusshera festival that Game Changer will release in January 2025 as a Sankranti film.
Dil Raju said the promotional content that has been unveiled so far received a tremendous response and the remaining songs and the teaser will be out very soon. He promised that Game Changer will match the hype and hoopla among moviegoers.
Game Changer has been in the making for more than three years now. It stars Kiara Advani and SJ Suryah in prominent roles. Many other significant actors are essaying crucial characters in the film. Charan plays dual roles in this social drama which is touted to be a blend of action and heavy dose of drama.
