Sudheer Babu is known for being very selective when it comes to choosing films. After recently appearing in the mass entertainer Harom Hara, his latest film Maa Nanna Superhero is set to hit the screens on the 11th of this month. This film revolves around the bond between a father and his son. In an interview, Sudheer Babu shared insights about the movie.
“This is a story centered around two fathers and one son. There are many fresh scenes that depict the son’s eagerness to take care of his father, which will create interest among the audience. Even though many films have been made on this sentiment, there’s an untold emotion in this one. You could say it’s a ‘triangle love story’ between two fathers and a son. It’s a universal point, and I believe it will connect with everyone. In the trailer, we’ve revealed the entire story because this isn’t a thriller; it’s a narrative woven around human relationships. We wanted to give complete clarity to the audience about the film through the trailer.”
Talking about Mahesh Babu’s reaction to the Maa Nanna Superhero trailer, Sudheer said, “We sent a rough cut of the trailer to Mahesh, and he responded by saying, ‘Looking good.’ After watching the final trailer, he appreciated it a lot, saying it touched his heart. He also found the dialogue at the end, which includes Mahesh Babu’s name, very funny. Usually, Mahesh doesn’t express much to me, so his praise and even the few words and symbols he used in the message made me really happy.”
