Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Meets Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi

During his ongoing visit to Delhi, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy held a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah today. In this meeting, Revanth Reddy requested an increase in financial assistance for the flood damage incurred in Telangana, detailing the extensive devastation caused by recent floods in the state.

Additionally, the issue of the Musi River rejuvenation was discussed. Reports indicate that Revanth Reddy urged Amit Shah to allocate funds for the Musi rejuvenation initiative, paralleling the Namami Gange project spearheaded by the central government.

In a related development, a meeting of Chief Ministers from all states was convened in Delhi under Amit Shah’s chairmanship. The conference addressed the issue of Naxalism’s emergence across the country, with both Revanth Reddy and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in attendance.
