Nampally Court summoned Nagarjuna To Record His Statement In Defamation Case Against Konda Surekha

Actor Akkineni Nagarjuna has to appear in Nampally Court on Tuesday as the court summoned him to appear for the recording of his official statement in connection with his defamation suit against minister Konda Surekha. Along with the actor, statements from key witnesses will also be recorded, as requested by the defense lawyer.

The case, which has garnered significant public attention, was initially scheduled for hearing on Monday, but has now been postponed to Tuesday. The court aims to gather more information from all parties involved before proceeding with further hearings.

Nagarjuna’s legal team is expected to provide additional evidence to strengthen their stance. The outcome of tomorrow’s session will determine the next steps in the judicial process.

Akkineni Nagarjuna has approached the court to take legal action against Minister Konda Surekha, apart from denying the serious allegations made against his family with regard to his son Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s divorce with Samantha.

While criticizing BRS working president KTR, Minister Konda Surekha made serious allegations against Akkineni’s family alleging that KTR was the cause of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s divorce. She alleged that Samantha got divorced because she did not like the way Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya acted regarding the conditions set by KTR without demolishing the N-Convention.

Along with Akkineni’s family, Samantha also strongly condemned Minister Konda Surekha’s comments. The celebrities of the Telugu film industry have also denied Konda Surekha’s allegations with open arms. It is noteworthy that even though Konda Surekha announced that she was withdrawing her comments, she tweeted only mentioning Samantha. With this Nagarjuna, who felt that his family’s honor had been lost due to Konda Surekha’s allegations, prepared to go to great lengths.

In this order, a petition was filed in the Nampally court to take legal action against Konda Surekha and sued for defamation. Nagarjuna stated in the petition that the comments made by Konda Surekha had damaged the honor of him and his family. Her comments were broadcast in the state media as well as the national media.

Clippings were also submitted to the court. The Nampally court which heard the petition took a crucial decision.  The court issued clear orders that the petitioner Nagarjuna himself should come to the court and present his argument.  His statement should be recorded.
