Naga Chaitanya Took Legal Action Against TS Minister Konda Surekha

Tollywood actor Naga Chaitanya took legal action against Telangana Minister Konda Surekha on October 3. This action came after her comments regarding his family and his divorce with actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, in which she alleged that BRS leader KTR was the main reason for their separation.

This controversy began when Konda Surekha, while addressing the media on Wednesday, stated that “BRS leader KT Rama Rao asked Nagarjuna to send Samantha to him, promising to spare the N-convention center from demolition. Surekha alleged that Nagarjuna forced Samantha to go, but the actress denied, and that led to the separation of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha.”

Furthermore, she accused KTR of being a drug addict and influenced several actresses to use drugs. She also claimed that many actresses are leaving films and getting married early due to KTR’s actions, including accusations of phone tapping.

In response to her accusations and baseless comments, Samantha and Nagarjuna’s family, including Amala, Naga Chaitanya, and Akhil, denounced those allegations and urged Surekha to withdraw her comments.

However, the minister did not apologize for her actions and clarified that her comments are meant to question a leader’s belittling of women and not to hurt the actress’s sentiments. She added that Samantha’s success as an actress is not only an admiration but also an ideal.
