KTR Alleges ₹1,137 Crore Contracts Given to CM Revanth Reddy’s Brother-in-Law

BRS Working President KTR has alleged that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy awarded contracts worth ₹1,137 crore to his brother-in-law’s company. Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, KTR accused Revanth Reddy’s family members of engaging in corruption under the AMRUT scheme, which was designed to address water shortages in municipalities with the support of both central and state governments.

KTR questioned whether a company with a turnover of ₹2 crore could handle projects worth ₹1,000 crore, criticizing the Chief Minister for using his power to favor his brother-in-law’s company. He expressed anger that the government had not disclosed details about the tenders issued under the AMRUT scheme.

KTR demanded a central investigation into these tenders and called for the cancellation of all tenders issued so far under the AMRUT scheme. He also mentioned that he had written a letter to the central government regarding the corruption involved in these tenders and vowed to expose the irregularities committed by the government.
