Nagababu Refuted Jagan’s Claims of `Man Made Disaster’

Jana Sena leader and Mega Brother Nagababu was furious over YCP chief and former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s accusation that ‘Man Made Disaster’ caused Vijayawada to drown in heavy floods. He expressed his anger on Jagan’s comments that Vijayawada is languishing due to the grave mistake of Chief Minister Chandrababu Sarkar.

He ridiculed making such accusations without extending any assistance for the flood victims. Moreover, he lamented that Jaganmohan Reddy’s regime was notorious for `Man Made Disasters’. He recalled that in 2021, the YCP government’s criminal negligence demonstrated in the incident of the Annamayya project gate being washed away.

Nagababu reminded that 44 people died and 15 people went missing in the incident of Annamayya project gate being washed away three years ago. He said that five villages were completely leveled in this incident and hundreds of cattle were killed. Everywhere you look, you can still see the collapsed houses, he added.

The Jana Sena senior leader said that the main allegation is that they dig sand on a large scale in the river. Nagababu said that the gate of Annamayya project was washed away due to mismanagement of state government projects.

He also mentioned that the Union Hydropower Minister Gajendra Singhshekawat said in the Parliament that this incident is a case study in the country. This is called Sir `Man Made Disaster’. Referring to what Jagan himself claims as a `First class student’, he advised him to realise the difference between natural disasters and man-made disasters.

Due to his government’s failure and negligence in taking up repairing the dam gate in time, Nagababu asserted that Annamayya Dam was washed away due to excessive illegal transportation of sand by his team. He lamented that it was the real  ‘ Man-made Disaster’.

If possible, he asked Jaganmohan Reddy, it would be better to visit the flooded areas and provide financial support to the victims whose properties have been lost due to floods. He requested not only criticism but also help as much as possible during the calamity.
