Asking them to be brave, he said that he will be in Vijayawada taking care of relief measures for the victims.

Meanwhile, the administration is taking some relief as the flood water levels started slowing in Budameru and also in river Krishna.

Since Sunday, he has been continuously monitoring relief measures day and night and visiting flood affected areas himself asking victims about their problems. He is making efforts to provide food packets, milk, fresh water and biscuits to all the victims. He is also taking care to move all of them to safe places.

More than 110 boats are working in the relief operations of the victims. Even if it is raining, they are continuing the relief work without stopping anywhere. In the Ramalingeswara Nagar area, the Chief Minister waded into knee-deep water and talked to the victims. Along with the ministers, he boarded the JCB in the Sitara Center area and roamed through the flooded streets.

Drones have entered the field for the first time in relief operations. Food, milk and fresh water were sent by drones to those on the upper floors who could not come down due to the flood.

Budameru in G. Konduru Mandal of Mylavaram Constituency of NTR District has calmed down a bit, which showed a great appearance till yesterday, has reduced a little today. The flood water reached beyond the design capacity of Budameru 15,000 cusecs. As a result, 16 divisions of Vijayawada were flooded. About 2.59 lakh people remained under flood water for 48 hours.
