A captivating video emerged from the Chennai Formula Racing Circuit, an extension of the recently concluded Indian Racing Festival (IRF). In this memorable clip, Tollywood star Naga Chaitanya had a notable encounter with Indian cricket legend Sourav Ganguly. The two exchanged warm greetings, shaking hands and sharing best wishes for the racing festival.
Sourav Ganguly and Naga Chaitanya are known to be involved in the Indian Racing League 2024, with Ganguly owning the Kolkata Royal Tigers and Chaitanya owning the Hyderabad Blackbirds. The league officially commenced on August 24 at the Madras International Circuit. The Chennai leg of the festival is particularly significant as it features India’s first-ever night street circuit race.
In addition to Ganguly and Chaitanya, the event also saw involvement from other prominent figures such as John Abraham and Arjun Kapoor, who own the Goa Aces and Speed Demons Delhi franchises, respectively. Teams from Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, and Kolkata competed in the inaugural season of the league.
On the professional front, Naga Chaitanya is currently engaged in shooting for the high-profile cross-border action-romance film, ‘Thandel’, which also stars Sai Pallavi in a leading role.
