YSRCP Leader Jagan Slams CM Chandrababu Over Neglect of State’s Healthcare

In an open letter to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, YSRCP President Jagan Mohan Reddy accused the government of strangling the public health sector in the state. He criticized the government for depriving the common people of quality healthcare, pointing out that the halt in the recruitment of specialist doctors and other staff is undermining the “zero vacancy” policy.

Jagan further alleged that the government’s failure to clear bills is weakening the Aarogyasri scheme, forcing people to sell their assets again to cover medical expenses.

He also accused the government of deliberately neglecting the establishment of five new medical colleges that were supposed to start this year. Jagan claimed that the failure to commence classes in these colleges is a clear indication of the government’s incompetence.

“Despite having all the necessary facilities, your approach has cast a shadow over these colleges. Even with an alliance with the BJP at the center, you failed to secure the necessary approvals. This is a failure on your part. The central government relies on your support. I urge you to use that influence to immediately obtain the approvals for these five medical colleges,” Jagan stated in his letter.
