From the past one week, social media has witnessed war of words between Bollywood supporters and Telugu movie audiences, especially fans of Prabhas. This is because, Munnabhai fame actor Arshad Warsi commented that Prabhas looked like a Joker on screen in Kalki 2898AD. His controversial remarks kicked off a massive outrage from fans who lashed out at the actor’s poor taste.
For the first time, director Nag Ashwin of Kalki 2898AD reacted on this controversial issue. He came up with a mature reaction on the remarks made by the actor on his film and his actor. Through his X handle, Nag Ashwin said “Let’s not go backwards..no more north-south or bolly vs tolly..eyes on the bigger picture.. United Indian Film Industry..Arshad saab should have chosen his words better..but it’s ok..sending buji toys 4 his kids..il work hard so tweets fdfs that prabhas was the best ever in k2
” . The director replied to a post from a random user in X who posted a scene from Kalki and said just this particular scene is bigger than the whole Bollywood.
He also said ” Too much hate in the world already bro…we can try not to add to it..I know prabhas garu will also feel the same…
”
Nag Ashwin’s reaction is appreciable because he didn’t try to add fuel to the ongoing controversy with his negative comments, but tried to put an end to it with his positive approach. He also assured that he will make sure Prabhas will have best ever role in the sequel.
Keeping aside Arshad’s needless comments, Prabhas fans are now happy with the way Nag Ashwin is going to present their hero in the much anticipated second part.
