Natural Star Nani’s upcoming film Saripodhaa Sanivaram has been making a lot of waves because of the impressive content in all the promotional material that has been unveiled so far. From posters to teasers to songs, everything has hit the bulls eye and augmented the hype on the film. Moreover, Nani’s superlative track record is another reason why this film has been setting high expectations among trade circles. Ahead of the film’s release on this 29th, the makers have unveiled the theatrical trailer this Tuesday and it packs a solid punch despite treading familiar tropes of an enraged man taking over a ruthless and amoral cop.
The three minute trailer reveals that the story of Saripodhaa Sanivaram unravels in a place called Sokulapalem where the local people face the wrath of a maverick and egregious police Inspector Daya played by SJ Suryah. Many locals are brutally assaulted and persecuted for one or the other reason before Surya aka Nani steps in to give him the taste of his own medicine. He is accompanied by his love interest Priyanka Arul Mohan who works as a police constable in the same police station.
Nani owns people in his area and go till any extent to put them in a safe zone. He seethes with anger and adopts a devil-may-care attitude when he gets into action. Whenever there is something wrong, he notes their details in his book and then takes an aggressive path to reform them. As Daya’s unbridled violence continues, Surya wages a war against him and turns saviour for his people.
The trailer offers a complete mass package with Nani looking very energetic in his role. His mannerisms and body language are terrific in this masala entertainer. SJ Suryah complements Nani with his stunning makeover. He delivers a solid performance and stuns with his peculiar traits.
Priyanka Arul Mohan appears to have got a meaty role which requires something glamour. She gets adequate screentime in the trailer. Harsha Vardhan, Sudhakar, Sai Kumar and Murali Sharma essayed significant roles in this film.
The standout contribution for this trailer comes from Music composer Jakes Bejoy who renders a scintillating score to the trailer. The visuals are very good and the production values are top notch.
Director Vivek Athreya, who delivered a classy film Ante Sundaraniki, is now coming up with a full-length mass entertainer. He presented Nani in an out-and-out commercial potboiler.
Overall, the trailer of Saripodhaa Sanivaram that the film is all about the battle of rages between the hero and the antagonist.
