Many key Files Are Missing From CRDA office

Realizing that they would be voted out, the previous YCP government has resorted to destroying a large number of key files from various government offices, so as to cover up their indiscriminate corruption and other illegal activities. Burning of files at CID SIT office, Mines and Tourism offices and very recently at Madanapalle sub-collector created large scale uproar.

Now, many important files are found missing from the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) office. This was exposed when the present government started scrutinizing important files in key departments to identify irregular practices during the YCP’s regime.

This became problematic to Chandrababu Naidu government, which has been making efforts to move forward in the development of Amaravati capital region by taking corrective measures on the massive mischief carried out during the previous regime.

It may be recalled that the YCP government had tried miserably to foist false cases against Chandrababu Naidu, minister Dr P Narayana, Nara Lokesh and others accusing large scale irregularities in capital development. For this purpose, they have taken away a large number of files from the CRDA office, which most of them were not returned back.

As the present government has changed the entire staff at the CRDA office, the present officials are finding it difficult to move forward in the absence of several critical files. Municipal Administration MInister Dr Narayana found that several key files in departments like engineering, planning, revenue and estate are not visible.

These files were seized by the YCP government in the name of inquiry against the TDP government. Those missing files include MoUs made with the Singapore government  and various educational institutions and industrial houses.

All the land related files were seized to implicate Chandrababu and his son Lokesh in the Inner Ring Road case. It seems that most of these also did not come back. The CRDA officials gave these files as per the orders of the then superiors. Copies of these files were not kept with them.

Now the government is contemplating to make CRDA officials who worked during the YCP government, as well as the officials of various departments who worked in the past, responsible for the missing of files.
