Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has embarked on a 14-day official visit to the United States and South Korea. The chief minister, accompanied by Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari and IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu, will be abroad until August 14.
The delegation’s itinerary includes visits to major US cities such as New York, Washington, Dallas, and San Francisco from today until August 9. During this period, the Telangana government plans to enter into agreements with several business leaders in the US to foster investment and collaboration.
The chief minister’s team will head directly to New York today, with further plans to travel to New Jersey on August 4. On August 5, Revanth Reddy is scheduled to meet the CEO of Cognizant in New York.
In a related development, another minister, Komatireddy Venkatreddy, will also depart for the US on August 5 to join the efforts in strengthening international ties and promoting Telangana’s interests abroad.
