Suriya Blazes In Kanguva’s ‘Fire Song’

Suriya’s highly anticipated fantasy action drama ‘Kanguva’ has finally unveiled the most-awaited first single, “Fire Song”.

Suriya celebrates his 49th birthday today. To celebrate the occasion, the makers of his upcoming film ‘Kanguva’ released the first single, ‘Fire Song’, unveiling Suriya in a never-seen avatar.

The lyrical video, which runs for 3 minutes and 41 seconds, endeavors to capture Suriya’s intense portrayal as a fierce tribal warrior. Suriya delivers powerful dance performances, enhanced by the dynamic, electrifying soundtrack.

With Devi Sri Prasad at the helm of music direction, the ‘Fire Song’ was penned by lyricist Shreemani for the Telugu version, with vocals by Anurag Kulkarni and Deepthi Suresh. The song was released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

Speaking more about ‘Kanguva’, Suriya will portray three distinct looks: one as an ancient tribal warrior and the other in a contemporary style. It is reported that the Jai Bhim actor has undergone a remarkable transition for these roles, and each unique appearance will introduce new dimensions and add layers of intrigue to the film’s gripping narrative.

Kanguva promises to be a grand visual spectacle, jointly backed by the massive production houses under the banner of Studio Green and UV Creations. Bollywood beauty Disha Patani plays the female lead alongside Suriya and Bollywood actor Bobby Deol as the film’s main antagonist. The supporting cast includes Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, B.S. Avinash, and others.

The film is anticipated to be Suriya’s most expensive project to date and is slated for a worldwide theatrical release in 38 languages on October 10, 2024. Producer K.E. Gnanavel earlier announced that the film will be divided into two parts, with the second part slated to begin in late 2025 or early 2026 and is expected to be released in 2027.
