Jagga Reddy Questions Chiranjeevi’s Commitment to Farmers’ Issues

TPCC Working President Jagga Reddy made pointed remarks against Megastar Chiranjeevi, questioning his commitment to farmers’ issues. Jagga Reddy noted that while Chiranjeevi has produced films focusing on the struggles of farmers, he has not shown support for the farmers protesting in Delhi. “Why don’t you, who earn crores from movies, pay attention to farmers’ issues? You profit from films about farmers but support PM Modi.

Why are you only supporting Modi and Pawan Kalyan? Why aren’t you supporting Rahul Gandhi, who has stood by the farmers?” Jagga Reddy questioned. He suggested that Chiranjeevi would have been more effective if he had remained with the Congress party, but now finds himself marginalized.

Jagga Reddy also criticized the TRS government, stating that in the last 10 years, Chief Minister KCR has borrowed Rs 7 lakh crore but only Rs 26,000 crore has reached the farmers. He contrasted this with the Congress government’s efforts, claiming that within six months, they provided Rs 31,000 crore to farmers. Furthermore, he questioned the BJP’s actions regarding farm loan waivers and criticized KTR for focusing more on Twitter than on addressing the needs of farmers
